Maintenance Technician (Make Ready) – June‑October 2nd - 3 Month Temp Full Time

This is a full‑time temporary position that can start now and run through October 2nd (could go longer). Potential to transition to a permanent role if performance is strong. This role is for a three‑month maintenance make‑ready technician at a well‑maintained community with strong leadership and competitive pay.

• Pay: $20.50 per hour, $21.50 per hour if EPA certified (rates are $1.50 higher than permanent positions; this temporary role is not eligible for benefits or quarterly bonuses)
• Stay Bonus: $100 after each successful completion of 30, 60, and 90 days of staying on the assignment

• Full‑time: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hours/week)
• Participation in a rotating emergency on‑call schedule with the team; generous on‑call bonus of $150 per week (or $200 per week in the summer months)

• Complete the turn/make‑ready process of vacant apartments
• Assist the team with maintenance work orders as needed
• Maintain property grounds on a daily basis
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

• At least one year of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• No HVAC certification or experience required
• EPA certification (Type II or Universal) and hands‑on HVAC troubleshooting/repair experience is a plus
• Strong customer‑service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and prioritizing tasks

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work‑order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year‑round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
