About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team! As a Maintenance Assistant
, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing various maintenance and repair tasks.
Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facility, including but not limited to: preventative building maintenance services, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our facility
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Demonstrate flexibility in order to meet the needs of our residents and willingness to learn new skills
  • Support the team by working in a cohesive team-oriented manner and multi-tasking as needed
  • Provide attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Utilize basic knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Problem-solve in a manner that benefits the care being provided to our residents

Requirements:
  • At least 1 Year of Experience in a LTC, Post Acute or Healthcare setting as a Maintenance worker
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to be flexible and learn new skills
  • Ability to support the team by working in a cohesive team-oriented manner and multi-tasking as needed
  • Basic knowledge of preventative building maintenance services, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping
  • Knowledge of HVAC helpful
  • Ability to problem-solve in a manner that benefits the care being provided to our residents
