JOB SUMMARY

A Service Technician is the front line and point person for the brand, working directly with riders—both present and remote—to identify and provide solutions for service needs, ensuring quick, frictionless experiences that keep riders cycling longer and better. The role supports sales and profitability goals by providing exceptional rider service and technical expertise.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
  • Meeting and making a connection with riders, asking qualifying questions, listening to their needs, and offering options from the service menu.
  • Speak authoritatively on technical matters related to bicycles, acting as the expert.
  • Assist customers enthusiastically and courteously, providing "wow" service.
  • Properly take in all service work, fill out service orders, and schedule repairs.
  • Advise and assist customers with product and service selection without bias.
  • Maintain knowledge of all merchandise to provide accurate information as new product lines are introduced.
  • Assist with bike sales and other floor duties as needed.
  • Deliver best‑in‑class rider service to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
  • Maintain general cleanliness standards throughout the day and perform light janitorial duties.
  • Show proficiency in Lightspeed POS and store operational websites.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
  • Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand.
  • Bike shop or bike mechanic experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with riders and team members.
  • Availability to work during business hours, including weekends.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, kneel, and reach as needed.
  • Capacity to lift at least 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
