Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee daily maintenance activities, support onsite technicians, manage preventative maintenance programs, and ensure the community is maintained to company standards while meeting the unique needs of an affordable housing environment.

HVAC Certification Required
Candidates must have a valid HVAC certification. Applicants without HVAC certification will not be considered.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and support onsite maintenance team members in daily operations
  • Prioritize and complete work orders while ensuring timely resident service
  • Perform and oversee repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems
  • Manage apartment turnovers and ensure units are completed efficiently and meet quality standards
  • Conduct routine inspections of units, common areas, and property grounds
  • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Coordinate vendor relationships, obtain bids, and oversee contractor work
  • Ensure work orders are accurately documented and completed within established timelines
  • Support property readiness for inspections and maintain LIHTC property standards
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
  • Partner with the Property Manager to support resident satisfaction and overall community success
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of multifamily/apartment maintenance experience
  • LIHTC or affordable housing maintenance experience preferred
  • HVAC certification required
  • Previous Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Maintenance experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general building systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to perform physical maintenance work, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
