Position Summary
The Part-Time Clubhouse Maintenance Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operations and appearance of the clubhouse and surrounding facilities. This position assists with event setup and breakdown, maintains the cleanliness of common areas and restrooms, performs minor maintenance repairs, and completes other assigned tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and guests.
Essential Responsibilities- Set up and break down banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and event areas according to event specifications.
- Clean and maintain restrooms in the clubhouse, golf course, and tennis facilities throughout the day.
- Perform routine cleaning of clubhouse common areas as needed.
- Complete minor maintenance and repair tasks, including:
- Replacing light bulbs
- Tightening fixtures and hardware
- Basic painting and touch-ups
- Minor plumbing or carpentry repairs
- Furniture repairs and adjustments
- Assist with moving tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies.
- Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance issues requiring additional repairs.
- Ensure all assigned work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with seasonal projects and special events.
- Respond promptly to requests from management and other departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous maintenance, custodial, or facilities experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and minor building repairs.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and dependability.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Ability to communicate professionally with members, guests, and staff.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Push and pull carts, tables, chairs, and equipment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Part-time position with flexible scheduling.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Schedule will vary based on club events and operational needs.
- General handyman experience.
- Experience with facility or building maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate basic maintenance equipment and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
