Maintenance Assistant

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. (JLL) seeks a Maintenance Assistant to support day-to-day operations in a commercial real estate facility. In this role, you'll perform routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on building systems, equipment, and common areas while ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for tenants and clients. Working within JLL's performance-driven, collaborative culture, you'll assist senior technicians, respond to service requests, support vendor activities, and document work in maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems, equipment, and fixtures under guidance of senior technicians
• Complete work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks in a timely and safe manner
• Assist with HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and basic electrical troubleshooting and escalation to specialists as needed
• Monitor facilities for safety, cleanliness, and operational issues and report or resolve as appropriate
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors, granting access and escort as required
• Maintain tools, parts, and maintenance supplies inventory; keep mechanical and storage areas organized
• Document work performed in maintenance systems and follow JLL standards and compliance procedures
• Support emergency response, after-hours calls, and special projects as required by the facility team
