Position DescriptionPerform any combination of various basic tasks associated with the operation of an industrial cleaner and do so in a safe and quality manner with the highest quality possible. Primary duties will include cleaning tobacco in and around machinery inside a large manufacturing plant.
Job Responsibilities- Takes direction and effectively communicates with supervisors.
- Thinks creatively and applies results to safely and efficiently complete tasks.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
- Maintains work area in a clean and tidy manner.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as brooms, shovels, dusters, mops, pressure washers, and air wands.
- Operate equipment and machines such as forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, and floor scrubbers.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervisor/co-workers and understand direction from supervisor.
- Must be able to utilize basic math and read a tape measure.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb, bend, twist, push, pull, stand, and reach repetitively
- Work in hot/cold/damp/cramped environments
- Must be able to utilize a ladder.
- Must be able to work in high elevations. Heights may be more than 20 feet from the ground.
- 40 or more hours per week with possible weekend work
- Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies within the last seven years.
- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen, which includes THC.
