We seek warm, razor‑smart psychiatric nurse practitioners with entrepreneurial spirits to perform consultations in nursing homes in Illinois. Ivy consultants build an independent consulting practice while making a positive impact on older adults and their families. Consultants receive full administrative support and clinical mentorship, and can take on work they want at competitive rates with flexible scheduling.

• Work closely and collaboratively with nursing home staff, residents, and families.
• Proactively follow up with patients and assess efficacy of recommended interventions.
• Provide education on best practices.
• Round at assigned nursing homes and recommend psychiatric medication and treatment recommendations.
• Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non‑pharmacological treatments whenever possible.

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANNC Board Certification
• Ability to travel in Illinois
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Strong, ambitious, patient‑centric work ethic
