EVS Attendant

Job Description

Position Summary:

During hours of operation, if not performing other job duties, Attendant will continually circulate the facility with pan and broom in hand to sweep tickets/trash from the floor, collect trash/tickets from countertops and trash from tables.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes superior guest service.

• Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, dusts, and vacuums all areas of the facility including special cleaning required by management.

• Removes and recycles trash.

• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms.

• Maintains floor cleanliness.

• Communicates inventory supply status to management.

• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.

• Operates washing machine and dryer.

• Reports on any observed security, environmental and health and safety related concerns and any equipment malfunctions.

• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-year of environmental services experience.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull 40 lbs.

• Reaching and stooping are part of the job.

• Must be willing to clean spills and biohazards.

• Must be able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.

• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.

• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Wages:

This role offers a starting wage of $17.65 per hour. Candidates with relevant experience may be placed higher within the established pay range.
