Role Overview
Your mission as the Onsite Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. Responsibilities- Report into the Site Manager.
- Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems, diagnosing issues to prevent equipment downtime.
- Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
- Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
Education level: High School Diploma; AS degree preferred (or military equivalent).
Relevant experience: 1-3 years of equivalent experience in a technical field such as electronics, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum; preferably with customer‑facing experience.
Knowledge areas / skills:
- Strong customer focus to ensure solutions meet expectations and time frames.
- Self‑directed problem solving, escalating through appropriate channels when required.
- Proactive customer feedback seeking and inquiry to understand the business.
- Technical coaching of less experienced team members.
- Team collaboration to deliver company objectives.
- Compliance with applicable laws, policies, and safety/health standards.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; clear communication and hearing.
- Computer literacy for data recording and reporting.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical documentation (e.g., drawings).
