Maintenance Mechanic (Warehouse) – Direct Hire
Location: Ripon, WI
Openings: 1 Warehouse Mechanic
Pay: $28.00–$34.00/hr
Candidates must be comfortable working outside of a traditional 9–5 schedule. Must be strong in Maintenance Mechanic aptitude with strong tenure and relevant experience!
Warehouse Maintenance Mechanic – Night Shift (1 Opening)- Off-Season:5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
- Start time typically around 2:00pm
- Peak Season (Late October – December):2-shift operation
- Hours vary based on order volume and shipping demand
The 2:00PM start is for when we are on 8 HR shifts, when things pick up and we go to overtime the start times change :
9 HR – 3:00pm
-11:30
10 HR – 4:00pm – 12:30am
12 HR – 5:30pm - 5:30am
Overtime is based on orders and labeling needs. Usually starts picking up around late July – August.
OverviewA long-standing food manufacturing facility in Ripon, WI is hiring a Maintenance Mechanics to support warehouse operations.
This is a canning facility with over 100 years of operation, running a semi-automated production environment focused on vegetables such as green beans and carrots. The plant expands significantly during peak season, and maintenance plays a critical role in keeping operations running.
This role is best suited for someone who is hands‑on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a seasonal, high‑demand production environment where schedules and workload shift throughout the year.
Responsibilities- Perform daily maintenance on plant or warehouse equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues during production
- Maintain and rebuild:
- Chains, sprockets, and gearboxes
- Bearings and power transmission systems
- Conveyors, pumps, and motors
- Support preventative maintenance and equipment overhauls
- Respond to breakdowns and minimize downtime during production runs
- Maintain repair logs and documentation
- Follow all safety and housekeeping standards
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge of:
- Basic hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment in a live production environment
- Welding, machining, or fabrication experience preferred
- PLC exposure preferred but not required
- Open to candidates from manufacturing, automotive, military, construction, or similar backgrounds
- Starting pay: $28.00/hr
- Up to $34.00/hr based on experience
