About the Hospital
River Forest Animal Hospital is a six‑doctor general practice located in River Forest, IL. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility includes a fully equipped surgical suite, dental suite, in‑house diagnostic laboratory, and a radiology suite featuring digital radiography and ultrasonography.
About the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Part‑Time Customer Service Representative to join our friendly, upbeat, and fast‑paced team. As our Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for both clients and their pets.
About You- Prior customer service experience in a veterinary setting
- Thrives in an upbeat, fast‑paced environment with frequent client interaction
- Comfortable scheduling appointments, answering phones, and processing payments
- A self‑motivated team player who enjoys collaborating with veterinary professionals
- Excellent communication skills and able to multitask effectively
- Compassionate, patient, empathetic, and enjoys working with pets and their people
- Experience with Avi Mark software (or willing to learn)
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Job Type: Part‑time
- Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule may include:
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekends
- Holidays
- Monday–Friday availability
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (required)
- Front desk/customer service experience: 2 years (required)
