The Associate Professor position is open for candidates with relevant credentials and experience.

Position Summary:

Dominican University invite applicants for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of International Business beginning in August 2026. The faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, maintain an active program of scholarly work consistent with AACSB expectations, and contribute to advising and service within a mission-driven, student-centered business school serving a diverse student population. The standard teaching load is 21 credit hours (seven courses) during the academic year.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

* PhD in International Business, or closely related business discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered if degree conferral by May 15, 2027.

* Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate international business courses.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Evidence of a developing scholarly agenda aligned with AACSB expectations.

* Ability to advise students and participate in departmental and university service.

* Commitment to teaching diverse learners within a mission-driven institution.

* Required qualifications also include the ability to advise students and serve on university and college committees.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prior university
-level teaching experience

* Experience using Canvas or comparable LMS.

* Preferably, demonstrated competency in applying data analytics and artificial intelligence tools and embedding their use across the discipline.

* Experience with experiential (study abroad, consulting projects, simulations, community-engaged learning).

* International or applied professional experience informing teaching

* Experience working in HSIs or minority-serving institutions.

* Established scholarly productivity(required for Associate level consideration)

Physical Demands:

* Ability to spend long durations of the workday sitting at a desk and working on a computer

* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Salary and FLSA Status

* SALARY: $90,000 -$95,000

* FLSA Status:
Exempt, full-time
