Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty for its programs at every level. Part-time teaching opportunities are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview.
Current teaching opportunities include the following disciplines, at the Undergraduate, MBA, and Doctoral Levels:
- Design Thinking
- Artificial Intelligence
- Teach undergraduate (traditional and accelerated degree programs) and graduate courses within the College of Business based on earned degree, area of expertise, and course modality. Many courses are offered in both online and face‑to‑face formats, and adjunct faculty may be hired in one or more of these modalities based on availability and interest.
- Work with college administrators (dean, assistant deans, discipline chairs) to address the needs of students and the curriculum.
- Support COB in the resolution of student issues in their assigned courses, such as grade and academic appeals.
- Complete other responsibilities for which they are hired.
- Terminal degree in a business‑related field preferred, but a Master's Degree and relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Prior classroom and online teaching experience is a major consideration.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to maintain confidentiality. - Ability to handle situations in a pleasant and professional manner.
