Overview

Are you passionate about the performing arts and love connecting with audiences online? The Dominican University Performing Arts Center (DUPAC) is seeking enthusiastic and creative DUPAC Ambassadors with a strong interest in social media marketing. As a DUPAC Ambassador, you will play an essential role in promoting our diverse programming—including nationally touring artists, cultural events, and beloved family productions like The Nutcracker Ballet—while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in arts marketing, customer service, and event operations.

Key Responsibilities Social Media Marketing & Content Creation
  • Lead and assist with social media campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok to engage and grow our audience.
  • Create original content (photos, videos, stories, and posts) that highlights upcoming performances, behind-the-scenes moments, and the DUPAC experience.
  • Host social media takeovers to give followers an insider’s view of events and daily operations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement innovative promotional strategies.
  • Monitor engagement and trends to help refine our digital outreach and maximize impact.
Event Support & Customer Service
  • Assist patrons with ticket sales both online and by phone, providing excellent customer service and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Support front-of-house operations: welcome guests, scan and sell tickets, and maintain a polished, organized environment before and after each show.
  • Provide backstage assistance as needed, including helping performers, coordinating with stage managers, and learning basic light and sound cue operations.
Operations & Teamwork
  • Ensure the venue is clean, organized, and ready for events.
  • Work collaboratively with staff across departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
