Role:
LPN Medication Nurse
Responsibilities include:providing licensed nursing support through safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. Key duties involve administering medications and treatments, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting in MAR/TAR, monitoring symptoms, reporting adverse reactions, conducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs), transcribing physician orders, observing and reporting physical, emotional, or cognitive changes, maintaining medication carts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:active LPN license in good standing, CPR and First Aid certification, strong assessment and documentation skills. Experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred.
Key Focus:preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical accuracy and regulatory adherence.
