The Forest Preserve District of Cook County is seeking a fully qualified Maintenance Mechanic to maintain automotive engines and complete diagnostic testing, overhaul and repair for gas and diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems. Responsibilities include ordering supplies, logging work, and documenting in vehicle folders.
This is a full-time Local 700 union position requiring at least 3 years of professional vehicle mechanic experience and a valid CDL Class
B.
