Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma
Experience:
Previous experience in childhood education is preferred; experience working with small children in a childcare setting is desirable. CPR/First Aid and Food Handler certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
* Assist in writing and implementing daily lesson plans and resource units.
* Assist in gathering lesson and resource materials.
* Arrange the general layout of the classroom and various learning/activity areas.
* Dispense snacks and meals to children per health and safety guidelines.
* Coordinate and supervise outdoor activities.
* Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean environment for all children.
* Lead daily learning activities, naps, and exercises.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
* Adhere to childcare policies and licensing regulations.
