Information Specialist
Handle incoming calls, emails, and live chats received through the Call Center and assist students, faculty and staff with information and resources by providing accurate, supportive, and timely information regarding the programs and policies of Triton College.
Qualifications- Education:
Associates degree or higher. - Experience:
Experience in Customer Service and working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking office setting. - Knowledge:
General knowledge of college admissions enrollment process, services and programs. - Skills:
Exceptional Listening skills, Strong written and oral communication, Strong Customer Service ability, Strong organizational, technical and computer skills, Fluency in Spanish preferred.
- Registering students for courses.
- Responds to requests for information via telephone, email, and live chat utilizing quality customer service skills in accordance with Triton's College Performance Standards.
- Conducts telephone outreach and informs students of their next steps in the application, enrollment, and registration process.
- Assists students with questions on navigating Triton website and Student Portal.
- Other duties as assigned.
