Job Summary / Basic Function

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide one-to-one and group tutoring. In addition, the following duties may be expected:

• Assist students virtually on TEAMS in addition to face-to-face
• Prepare and present workshops
• Provide customer service on desk as needed; escorting students to staff, answering phone calls, taking messages, log students into computers
• Record student performance on a daily or weekly basis
• Record in-class activities by data entry and hard copy
• Assist in class tours and visits to the Academic Success Center
• Attend in-service training and marketing events on campus as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• $19 to $26 per hour (pay determined by education and experience); maximum 28 hours per week.
• Transcripts required at time of interview.
• Recommended hire will be subject to pre‑employment screenings.
• Triton College is an AA/EOE.

Minimum qualifications:

• Education:
  
  high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have completed at least 12 college credit hours with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
• Must have earned an “A” grade in the course assigned for tutoring.

• Demonstrate a desire to help students.
• Strong understanding and use of Microsoft applications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of campus resources.
