Job Summary:

The Recruiting Coordinator supports the recruitment and hiring process for a fast-paced freight logistics company. This role ensures a smooth candidate experience from application to onboarding by coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate communications, and supporting recruitment operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers across multiple locations.
  • Manage candidate communications, providing timely updates and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information.
  • Assist with job postings on various platforms, including job boards, company website, and social media.
  • Prepare interview materials, including candidate resumes, job descriptions, and evaluation forms.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, background checks, and orientation scheduling.
  • Track recruitment metrics and generate reports for HR and management.
  • Support hiring events, job fairs, and other recruitment initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company hiring regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the talent acquisition team as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or administrative support (experience in logistics or transportation preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
