Warehouse Lead

Orion Solutions Group is working with our client, a nationwide asset-based logistics provider, in search of a Warehouse Lead. • Lead a high‑performing warehouse team within a well‑established, rapidly growing logistics operation
• Hands‑on role with real influence over daily workflow, safety culture, and operational success
• Opportunity to work with diverse freight types across a modern, multi‑terminal network
• $70,000 - $80,000 10% potential bonus

• Lead, coach, and support warehouse associates to ensure safe, efficient daily operations
• Oversee proper loading/unloading of freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment
• Ensure freight is properly secured with strapping, bracing, or padding
• Inspect incoming and outgoing freight, documenting damage or discrepancies
• Conduct pre and post‑shift equipment inspections and report issues
• Assign tasks, coordinate workflow, and maintain productivity standards
• Oversee inventory accuracy, organization, and stock control
• Enforce safety policies and support training and development of new hires

• Experience leading or supervising warehouse or dock teams
• Advanced proficiency with forklifts and multiple types of warehouse equipment
• Strong understanding of freight‑handling safety regulations
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying weather conditions
• High physical endurance for lifting and moving heavy freight
