What You’ll Do

As the Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the property is well maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
  • Performing general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • Assisting with preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition
  • Maintaining the grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal
  • Assisting with annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs
  • Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies
  • Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff
  • Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed
  • Responding appropriately to emergency maintenance situations
  • Following company policies and procedures

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact positively with residents, vendors, and team members
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Professionalism and strong listening skills
  • Experience with subsidized housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is helpful
  • General building maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
  • General groundskeeping and landscaping experience
Basic Requirements
  • Reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Access to a personal smartphone with email, messaging, and app functionality (usage reimbursed)
  • The position requires ability to operate a motor vehicle as an essential function. Employees who use a personal vehicle for work-related travel are reimbursed in accordance with Company policy.
