The candidate must hold a Professional Educator Licensure (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) Endorsement for Grades (K-9). Bachelor's Degree Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) Registration in Region 07 (South Cook ISC
4) Learning Behavior Specialist1 (LBS1) Endorsement Grades K-9

Keen understanding of general special education testing concepts and methods. Able to provide behavioral analysis and positive intervention skills. Able to diagnose and provide remediation of various types of learning disabilities. Able to provide consultation, resource information and materials regarding students with exceptional needs to parents. Collaborative minded professional with strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work and build strong relationships with parents, teachers and school administrators.
