Electrical Project Manager I

Live Wire Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their fast-paced, growing organization. This position comes with opportunity for on the job learning, cross-functional training and professional growth. This position requires a minimum of 7 years experience as a Project Manager in the electrical construction industry. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
The Project Manager will be a leader in the department and be the owner of several concurrently running projects. The PM will be charged with assisting in growing a strong, robust department. This position will report directly to the Project Executive. Alternate office reporting location in Oak Brook, IL.
Duties and Responsibilities- Owner of several concurrently running projects
- Contract Administration
- Independently perform take-off and estimate change orders up to $10,000.00
- Scheduling, Delay and Claims Management
- Full ownership of material and subcontractor buyouts
- Project Preconstruction Preparation:
Conduct preconstruction preparation and post-construction review - Project Financial Budget vs. Actuals Management
- Field Productivity Tracking
- Project Safety:
Ensure all work adhere to contract conditions and company safety policies. Enforce OSHA requirements on all assigned projects. Ensure daily JHAs and safety audits are completed - Project Billing and Cashflow Management
- Change Order Management
- Track and Manage change orders, submittals and drawing revisions - Project Scheduling
- Project Closeout
- Accurately manage all project closeout procedures - Take the lead in project planning
- Salary: $87k - $114k, depending on experience

- Minimum of 7 years' experience as Electrical Project Manager
- Commercial, Institutional, Industrial experience
- Willingness to work long hours as needed
- Ability to read plans and specifications, understand installation drawings
- Estimating capabilities including labor factor analysis and modifications
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient, Excel expert
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Computerized estimating experience is preferred
- MS Office proficient
