Position Summary:

The Yard Foreman position supports the successful operations of the business by adding the day day-to-day operations of the Yard. Additionally, the foreman ensures that workers are performing their tasks correctly and that yard associates are trained to perform their duties safely and efficiently.

Pay Range: $22-$25 an hr DOE

1 year of Lead or Supervisor experience required

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PVC routing, loading, cutting, and cycle counts.
• Assures that the yard is in good safe working order.
• Checks work orders to make sure appropriate equipment is staged for loading.
• Assists customers by filling orders and loading trucks.
• Inspects returned equipment for damage during the rental period.
• Maintains a checklist of equipment status.
• Ensures safe work habits for all staff through supervision and training.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma
• 1-year experience preferred
• Experience in distribution, shipping, and receiving
• Knowledge of equipment utilization and safety requirements
• Personal and professional integrity
• A clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety and integrity
• Use of tool and equipment
