Requirements:

* CAT diesel and gas generators (5KW to 2

MEG)

* Control panels and electrical distribution systems

* Perform load bank testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance

* Use diagnostic tools (e.g., CAT ET (Electronic Technician), SIS (Service Information System), and other computer-based diagnostic tools/software) to troubleshooting issues

* Provide exceptional customer service and technical support

* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards

* Knowledge of automatic transfer switches and control logic

* Troubleshooting and diagnosing emergency repair procedures of AC/DC controls

* Troubleshooting and diagnosing gas and diesel industrial engines

* Reading and understanding wiring diagrams and schematics

* Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers

* Working independently with minimal daily supervision

* Working in a safe manner at all times

* Minimum of 5 years of heavy machinery

* Must be able to successfully complete a background check

Qualifications

One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school;
Minimum five plus year's of CAT dealer experience and five year's power equipment industry experience or equivalent education and experience.
