Sr. Custodian

Overview

Under the direction of the Facilities Services Custodial Supervisor, the Sr. Custodian performs a variety of custodial and housekeeping tasks to care for, maintain, disinfect, sanitize, and preserve campus facilities. The Sr. Custodian is responsible for the upkeep of assigned building(s) to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff and students. Sr. Custodians may work independently or as part of a team in assigned work areas in a fast‑paced environment with project deadlines and close turnarounds while maintaining a positive attitude.

They use initiative and proactively address daily tasks to maintain a clean environment and communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, staff, faculty, and students to maintain good relationships with campus customers.

Day, Swing, and Graveyard shifts (various)

Salary: $43,952 – $60,322 annually ($19.47 – $26.71 per hour). Salary offers are based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
