Lead Custodian, Auxiliary Facilities Services

Position Overview

UC Riverside's Auxiliary Facilities Services is recruiting for a Lead Custodian. Salary range: $21.05 - $28.89 per hour. Salary offers are based on education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

• Lead, guide, and perform a variety of custodial/housekeeping tasks to care, maintain, disinfect, sanitize, and preserve campus facilities.
• Clean, dust, strip, wax, sweep, mop, polish, disinfect, sanitize, vacuum, replenish restrooms, and remove refuse/recycling throughout campus facilities, conference rooms, elevators, stairwells, exteriors, etc.
• Work independently or as part of a team in assigned work areas.
• Oversee critical day-to-day operations in supervisor's absence, act as a subject matter expert, and provide leadership to custodial/housekeeping staff.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, staff, faculty, and students.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for staff.
