Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Shock Technician to inspect, maintain, and optimize shock absorbers for UTV and Snowmobile applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a passion for precision work.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, disassemble, clean, and rebuild shock absorbers to manufacturer or custom specifications.
- Document shock settings, pressures, measurements, and parts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to meet performance goals.
- Follow all safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
- Mechanical or automotive repair experience (shock/suspension experience a plus).
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
- Ability to lift and handle components up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with motorsports or off‑road vehicle suspension systems.
- Familiarity with shock dyno operation and data interpretation.
This position involves hands‑on mechanical work in a shop setting, with occasional travel for events, testing, or customer support.
CompensationThe starting pay range for California is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime. Pay and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
