Facilities Services is recruiting for multiple Sr. Custodians. The full salary range for the Sr. Custodian position is $25.17 - $34.53 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Under the direction of the Facilities Services Custodial Supervisor, the Sr. Custodian performs a variety of custodial/housekeeping tasks to care, maintain, disinfect, sanitize, and preserve campus facilities. The Sr. Custodian is responsible for the upkeep of their assigned building(s) to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff and students to enjoy. The Sr. Custodian may work independently or as a part of a team in assigned work areas in a fast paced environment with project deadlines and close turnarounds while maintaining a positive attitude.
The Sr. Custodian uses their own initiative and proactively addresses daily tasks to maintain a clean environment. Sr. Custodians communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, staff, faculty and students to ensure a good relationship with campus customers.
