Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry repairs.
Replace light bulbs, fixtures, door hardware, ceiling tiles, faucets, and other facility components.
Assemble, move, install, and repair furniture, shelving, signs, and equipment.
Perform routine inspections of dealership buildings, grounds, and common areas.
Identify and promptly report safety hazards or maintenance concerns.
Respond to maintenance requests from dealership departments and management.
Assist with maintaining showrooms, offices, service departments, customer waiting areas, restrooms, parking lots, and exterior areas.
Maintain tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
Assist with office moves, special projects, dealership events, and facility improvements.
Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors when directed by management.
Travel between Riverside Metro Auto Group locations as needed.
Follow all Company safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or general repair experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with employees and management.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and other physical activity associated with maintenance work. The employee may be required to lift and move tools, equipment, furniture, and maintenance supplies.
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, vehicle traffic, and conditions commonly found in an automotive dealership environment.
