Comercial Cleaning Specialist

This position starts in the late evening and ends after midnight. Because this shift runs after public transportation ends, successful candidates must have reliable transportation to and from the work location(s).

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Commercial Cleaning Technician to join our night shift team. In this role, you will execute essential sanitation, floor care, and facility maintenance tasks across commercial locations. This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who work well independently, take pride in clean environments, and thrive during evening work hours.

• Sanitation & Surface Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces, desks, and common areas (lobbies, hallways, break rooms).
• Restroom Maintenance: Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and restock commercial restrooms with necessary paper products and soap supplies.
• Waste Management: Empty trash, recycling, and compost receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Glass & Specialty Cleaning: Clean interior windows, glass doors, partition glass, and mirrors.
• Floor Care: Operate basic floor equipment for routine care, including vacuuming carpets, floor buffing, and spot cleaning as needed.
• Facility Maintenance: Assist with light building maintenance tasks and report any site repairs or hazards to management.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all Sparkle Freshness eco-friendly cleaning procedures, safety standards, and chemical handling guidelines.

• Age & Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in California.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience (Job titles: Cleaner, Janitor, Custodian, or Housekeeper). Recent commercial cleaning experience is strongly preferred.
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to travel to assigned work sites (primary site + potential coverage locations within a 30-minute radius).
• Communication: Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Autonomy: Proven ability to follow instructions, manage time effectively, and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical Demands: Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a 4 to 6-hour shift.

• Shift Duration: 4 to 6 hours per shift, occurring between 5:30 PM and 1:30 AM. Exact start times and shift lengths vary based on building size and service frequency.
• Location Flexibility: You will be assigned a primary city location. Additional hours may be offered at secondary client sites within a 30-minute driving radius.
