Position: School Psychologist, Up to $72/hr, '26-'27

School Psychologist providing psychological services to students in K‑8 and high school settings. Applies evidence‑based interventions such as CBT, goal‑setting, and imagery to promote emotional regulation and academic success. Works collaboratively with teachers, caregivers, and school staff to implement supportive plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide school‑based psychological services to support students’ social‑emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning

  • Conduct counseling and intervention services using evidence‑based strategies such as CBT, goal‑setting, imagery, and self‑talk to support emotional regulation and coping

  • Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, coaches, and school staff to promote student outcomes and implement supportive plans in the school setting

  • Support crisis awareness and respond appropriately to student needs in coordination with school procedures

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and follow ethical and school compliance requirements

  • Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree in School Psychology or closely related field

    • State of Illinois School Psychologist licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start

    • Minimum 1 year of school‑based experience supporting students (K‑8 and/or high school preferred)

    • Experience with emotional regulation, crisis awareness, and student engagement

    • Documentation and ethical practice in a school setting

    • Strong collaboration skills with teachers, caregivers, coaches, and school staff

    • Ability to work standard school days and approximately 37.5 hours per week
