8th Grade Special Education Teacher (Long-Term Substitute)
Terms of Employment: 6.67 hours per day (September 8, 2026 through November 30, 2026) Salary: $270.27 daily
Summary/Objective:
Riverside School District 96 is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to serve during a leave. The selected candidate will maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment while delivering developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with district curriculum and standards. This role requires strong classroom management, effective communication with students, staff, and families, and a commitment to ensuring continuity of learning throughout the assignment.

Professional Educator License (PEL) (preferred) or Substitute License registered in Region 06 West Cook LBSI K-9 Endorsement
