Dean | Fluor Custodial Technician - Part Time Security Clearance

Overview

This exciting opportunity is for a Part‑Time Custodial Technician with DEAN|FLUOR, a fast‑growing company. The role requires extensive background screening to meet current or future Network and/or government contract needs. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

• Perform all labor necessary to maintain the building in a clean and orderly condition, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, trash removal, bathroom cleaning, and maintenance of fixtures.
• Wax, remove old wax, mop, and apply an anti‑static substance to carpets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School diploma and two or more years of custodial experience.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain a security clearance.
• Extensive walking, stooping, pushing, carrying, climbing, bending, and lifting—including relocating a 12‑foot stepladder without assistance.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform duties at various heights up to 60 feet on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and ladders.

• Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
• Works at heights up to 60 feet and can maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, and ladders.
• Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls, and reaches overhead on a routine basis.
• Possesses good vision (may be corrected), can see in color, and hears and communicates in English.
• Can use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
• Recognizes potential problems, applies general rules to specific situations, and combines information to form conclusions.
• Sees details at close range and understands spoken information.
