Responsibilities
- Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations, and wearing proper personal protective equipment.
- Acts as the immediate supervisor, assigning and supervising shop technicians, setting standards, and assisting the Foreman in training, testing, and evaluations.
- Responsible for scheduling, supervising, and developing shop technicians; ensures technicians are aware of safety requirements and job assignments before shift start.
- Reviews service reports for accuracy upon job completion.
- Establishes procedures for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and ensuring repair processes are followed.
- Assists shop technicians in diagnosing difficult problems.
- Schedules and conducts bi‑monthly toolbox safety meetings, documenting attendance.
- Coordinates service workflow and job assignments; maintains high repair quality to prevent faulty work leaving the shop.
- Communicates effectively with technicians and notifies the Foreman or supervisor of additional repairs not included in the estimate or work order.
- Ensures all open work orders are reviewed daily and none remain open for more than three days without a justifiable reason.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- 3‑4 years of related experience.

- Moderate level capability in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products, and relevant Dealer software programs.

- Regular business hours with frequent requirements to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Occasionally – up to 3 hours/day.
- Frequently – 3‑6 hours/day.
- Constantly – 6‑8 hours/day.
- Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, feeling, fingering, grasping, repetitive motion.
- Pushing – up to 25 lbs.;
