Regional Camp Ranger

Ensure Girl Scouts of West Central Florida’s camp properties are safe, well-maintained, and welcoming.

• Perform routine, preventative, and restorative maintenance across two camps.
• Conduct regular site tours and monitor for weather damage.
• Facilitate inspections and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Perform general repairs including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and road maintenance.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Support camp operations and guest experience.

• Minimum five years' experience in general property maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, painting, and grounds upkeep.
• Availability to work a general schedule of four 10-hour workdays, generally Monday through Thursday, with occasional weekend work required.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate volunteers toward shared goals.
• Enthusiasm for welcoming members and guests to camp.
• Strong pride in personal and team achievement.
• Motivation to advance the Girl Scout mission.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
  Spanish language skills a plus.
• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver's license, safe driving record, and proof of insurance (CDL preferred).
• Ability to pass a "Fitness to Work" physical evaluation.
• Physical capability to lift at least 40 pounds, walk, bend, stoop, sit, and work outdoors in varying weather.

Demonstrates extensive experience in property maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Capable of managing tools and supplies inventory, supporting camp operations, and enhancing guest experiences.
