Role

Summary:

Maximise all potential hotel revenues by working closely with the DOSM, Front Manager and the Reservations department. Gain a strong and comprehensive understanding of all market segments and their booking streams, and be aware of market influences such as competitor activity and rate positioning.

Provides a full range of administrative, clerical and office support including, but not limited to:

• Work closely with the FOM and DOSM in rate setting for all periods.
• Collate all hotel reports relating to any reservation or sales tracking as designated by DOSM and GM, ensuring the information is reviewed analytically with the entire sales team.
• Maintain overall responsibility of reservations, while ensuring the Reservations Supervisor runs day‑to‑day operations of the department.
• Work closely with the FOM & Reservations Supervisor to manage department manning to maximise sales in accordance with budgets.
• Maximise the productivity of the department through ongoing training and development programmes; ensure mystery calls are conducted to monitor sales and reservation conversion.
• Actively take reservation enquiries when needed.
• Be involved in all yield and Revmax meetings as designated, ensuring minutes are followed up where issues relate to conversion of room‑night potential.
• Follow up on all Groups, Blocks, Allotments, and room lists with the Reservation Supervisor and Groups Coordinator.
• liaise with the Credit Manager regarding credit requests.
• Control the loading of all rates into Radisson’s Harmony Database and the hotel PMS, training the Reservations Supervisor to complete tasks where appropriate.
• Ensure all complaints through HDBM are actioned within 24 hours.

You have proven experience in a similar role with excellent communication and administration skills, are an enthusiastic individual with a passion for attention to detail.
