The Role of the Cafeteria Commi

As a Cafeteria Cook, your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of the Employee Cafeteria. Your responsibilities include preparing and serving food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards, all while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Your expertise in culinary techniques will be put to good use as you handle various tasks such as meal planning, ingredient preparation, cooking, and presentation.

Following established recipes and portion control guidelines will be essential to ensure consistency in taste and portion sizes. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment is paramount to uphold hygiene standards. This includes regularly cleaning equipment, utensils, and workstations to prevent cross‑contamination or foodborne illnesses. You will also be responsible for monitoring temperatures of delivered food items to maintain proper storage conditions.

The hotel offers three exceptional restaurant venues, collectively offering a seating capacity of 250 guests. Our event facilities, with a mix of Ballroom and Meeting Rooms offer a remarkable 7,213 square meters (77,640 square feet) of space, making them the perfect choice for a wide range of events. Areas of responsibility are Cafeteria, Staff Housing.

SPA and Wellness

Nestled within our establishment, our world‑class spa offers an array of indulgence across 8 treatment rooms for male guests and 1 treatment room designed exclusively for female guests. This haven of rejuvenation also encompasses high end facilities and a meticulously outfitted fitness center. Complementing this luxurious setting is our Spa department, boasting a diverse and dedicated team of 25 colleagues, all united in their mission to provide exceptional service to our esteemed guests.

Knowledge

And Skills
  • In line with our commitment to Saudization and Vision 2030, this role is exclusively available to Saudi Nationals.
  • Cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year culinary or related work experience. While this is a developmental position, advanced culinary knowledge is expected for this position. Working knowledge is generally learned on‑the‑job.
  • Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill.
