At Southern Team Auto Mall, we are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Janitorial Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment in our dealership showroom, customer areas, offices, restrooms, and service shop. This role is essential to ensuring an excellent experience for our customers and team.

• Clean and maintain showroom floors, windows, glass partitions, offices, and customer waiting areas
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain service shop floors, including safe removal of oil and automotive fluids
• Clean and disinfect restrooms; restock paper products and supplies
• Empty trash, recycling, and waste containers in accordance with safety procedures
• Clean spills promptly using proper safety protocols and signage
• Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, counters, and display vehicles (exterior surface dusting only)
• Maintain exterior walkways and entryways free of debris
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor machines
• Follow company safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to management
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Limpiar y mantener pisos de la sala de exhibición, ventanas, divisiones de vidrio, oficinas y áreas de espera
• Barrer y trapear pisos del taller, incluyendo la eliminación segura de aceite y fluidos automotrices
• Limpiar y desinfectar baños; reponer suministros
• Vaciar basura y desechos conforme a procedimientos de seguridad
• Limpiar derrames de inmediato utilizando protocolos y señalización adecuada
• Limpiar polvo y superficies, muebles, mostradores y vehículos en exhibición (solo limpieza exterior ligera)
• Mantener entradas y pasillos exterior es libres de escombros
• Operar equipo de limpieza como aspiradoras y máquinas para pisos
• Cumplir con normas de seguridad y manejo adecuado de químicos
• Reportar riesgos de seguridad o necesidades de mantenimiento
• Realizar otras tareas asignadas

• $15.00–$18.00 per hour
• Classified as non‑exempt (eligible for overtime) under federal and Virginia law
• Final pay is based on experience, qualifications, and business needs

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Physical Stamina: The ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching, ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment, ability to work in varying temperatures and moderate noise levels
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance.
• Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete all responsibilities.
• Ability to Work Independently: The capacity to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Basic Knowledge of Cleaning Products and Equipment: Understanding how to properly use and handle cleaning agents and equipment.
• Compliance with Safety Regulations: A commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
• Customer Service Skills (Optional): In some roles, strong customer service skills may be required, especially when interacting with customers in the service area.
