The City of Roanoke, Virginia, is hiring a Seasonal Maintenance Worker for landscape and street maintenance. Responsibilities include routine maintenance tasks in the right of ways and operating mowing equipment, as well as performing semi‑skilled work related to street maintenance. The role requires a valid Virginia Driver's License and offers the ability to work from April to November 40 hours a week.
Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with some experience in maintenance. Additional certifications are a plus. This is a non-exempt position offering hands-on landscape and roadwork opportunities.
