Position: HOURLY - General Cleaner (Full-time - Roanoke Main Library)
Janitorial Cleaner

• Pay: $15.00 per hour

• Schedule: Mon/Tue: 8:00 PM-4:30 AM | Wed: 6:00 PM-2:30 AM | Fri: 5:00 PM-1:30 AM | Sun: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (Thu/Sat OFF)
• Requirements: 1 year of cleaning experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 35 lbs repetitively.

What You'll Do

As a Janitorial Cleaner, you keep this public space welcoming. Our ideal janitor or custodian teammate takes pride in building upkeep. Key duties include:

• General cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming building areas.
• Pulling trash and recycling to keep spaces tidy.
• Cleaning restrooms thoroughly to uphold top sanitization standards.
• Using your reliable personal transportation to travel effectively to the library.
• Handling other standard cleaning duties as requested by your supervisor.

What You Bring to the Team

• Experience: 1 year of commercial cleaning, janitorial, or custodian work.
• Physical: Must be able to lift 35 lbs repetitively to manage trash and equipment.
• Travel: Must own reliable personal transportation to guarantee timely arrival for shifts.
