Job Title:

Carpet Care Technician

• The Carpet Care Technician is responsible for the cleaning and carpet shampooing of all guest rooms, public space, hallways, and restaurants.
• Responsible for tile/marble flooring as well.
• Responsible for cleaning of carpet and tile/marble flooring in hotel.
• Cleans upholstery as needed.
• Responsible for stain spotting & removal as needed.
• Maintain established cleaning schedule and complete daily checklist of duties.
• Maintains all equipment in clean and working order.
• Reports any problems to Housekeeping Managers.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and maintain appropriate levels.
• Assist in receiving and organizing housekeeping supply truck deliveries.
• Use hotel’s mobile device for service and work orders via hotel application.
• Engage with guests during shift in a pleasant manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Floor/Carpet Cleaning experience of at least 1 year required.
• Knowledge of cleaning machinery use and maintenance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to move/lift/push/pull/carry an average of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to communicate/interact pleasantly with guests and co-workers.
• Able to work independently.
• Reading skills required to include numbers and general texted instructions pertaining to work tasks.

Compensation: $15.75 - $19.00 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
