This position is a part‑time AM shift with alternating weekends up to 29 hours per week. Responsibilities include applying appropriate cleaning techniques and using products/equipment on a broad range of surfaces, sweeping, dusting, mopping, polishing, scrubbing, vacuuming, waste removal, and replenishing supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soaps, and deodorants. The role also involves cleaning body fluids and waste, keeping storage and carts clean, cleaning equipment after each use, reporting malfunctions to supervisors, adhering to department and facility policies, maintaining records for detail cleaning, discharge/terminal cleaning, and periodic cleaning.

Additional duties may be assigned in line with Environmental Services’ mission. The applicant may also assist during emergency declarations by the Governor.

• Knowledge of a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment used in routine cleaning of offices, resident rooms, public spaces, and utility areas.

• High School Diploma a plus.
