Job Summary
As a Trek Service Technician/Advisor, you’ll troubleshoot repairs and provide on‑site service for a wide range of bicycles, install accessories selected by customers, and build relationships with customers. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for customers when the Service Manager is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot repairs and provide on‑site service for a wide range of bicycles.
- Install accessories selected by customers for their new bikes.
- Receive and evaluate new model bikes before they hit the sales floor.
- Act as the face of the department to customers when the Service Manager is not available.
- Assist the Service Manager in maintaining department operations.
- Maintain high levels of hospitality, communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑motivation with a positive, team‑focused mentality and willingness to pitch in on any task.
- Excellent hospitality – warm, approachable manner, great listening skills, and a drive to help in any way you can.
- Top‑notch communication skills.
- Impressive attention to detail and a love for tinkering until you figure it out.
- Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of servicing bicycles.
- A desire to continually learn proper service methods and new technologies.
