Position: Maintenance Associate - Manufacturing (Friday-Sunday, 6:00pm-6:30am) - $29.85/hr.

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding with its third company‑owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. This state‑of‑the‑art facility will produce high‑quality milk products under Great Value and Member’s Mark, using milk sourced primarily from Texas dairy farmers.

What you’ll do
  • Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas.
  • Complete work‑order records, logs, and other written or computer‑based documents according to established procedures.
  • Maintain and repair building facilities (e.g., plumbing, construction, painting).
  • Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery and other powered equipment.
  • Assist in the use and disposal of hazardous materials and waste (e.g., cleaning chemicals) according to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, HVAC units).
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties and feedback.
