Maintenance Lead-Manufacturing

Position Summary

Walmart is expanding with its third company‑owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. This state‑of‑the‑art facility will produce high‑quality milk products under Great Value and Member’s Mark, using milk sourced primarily from Texas dairy farmers.

• Starting pay: $39.85 per hour (range $39.85 – $49.85; actual rate may include premiums)

• Assist in ensuring all maintenance processes and standards are met.
• Identify, correct, and inform management of conditions and practices that do not comply with company policies and procedures.
• Leverage expertise to develop, execute, and improve action plans, providing expert advice and guidance.
• Support compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the maintenance of facility grounds, equipment, and tools, maintaining working order and availability.
• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical failures of manufacturing machines and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues.
• Respond to and resolve issues and customer requests.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure proper business controls are in place.
• Assist with execution of programs to ensure safety of associates, equipment and property.
• Provide safety instruction to associates.
• Ensure associates follow company policies and procedures, wear personal protective equipment, and use equipment and products according to manufacturer guidelines and materials safety data sheets.
• Demonstrate up‑to‑date expertise and provide guidance to others in applying best practices.
• Provide and support implementation of business solutions, building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, monitoring progress, and capitalizing on improvement opportunities.
• Model compliance with company policies, procedures and values, and support the Walmart mission and ethical standards.
• Communicate with impact, energy and positivity to motivate and influence teams.

• 1 year experience in a maintenance field.

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
