Lead Janitor

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Lead to oversee daily cleaning operations and support a team of janitorial staff. This role requires strong leadership, hands‑on cleaning expertise, and the ability to manage schedules while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.

Full‑time schedule. Monday – Friday, 8:00 pm – 4:30 am. More details upon interview.

$16.50 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

• Supervise, train, and support janitorial staff to ensure quality performance and adherence to company standards.
• Assign daily tasks and manage team workflow to meet operational needs.
• Perform and oversee floor cleaning duties, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet care.
• Ensure proper general janitorial processes are followed, including cleaning, sanitizing, waste removal, and restocking supplies.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues as needed.
• Track and manage employee schedules, attendance, and shift coverage.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding workflow, issues, and improvements.
