Maintenance Manager

Our client, a leading property management organization, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their team. As a Maintenance Manager, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting residential communities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance operations, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Location: Rochester, MN

Pay Range: $59,000-$65,000/year

Shift: First 8:00 am - 4:30 pm M-F

What's the Job?

• Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians while performing hands‑on maintenance tasks

• Manage the maintenance budget to ensure quality work without overspending

• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors for supplies and services

• Perform plumbing repairs, electrical work, carpentry, and other residential repairs

• Oversee community curb appeal, including groundskeeping and trash removal

What's Needed?

• Proven experience leading a maintenance team or managing vendor relationships

• At least 3 years of experience in residential or commercial property maintenance or a technical field

• Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, carpentry, painting, or related skills

• Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining quality standards

• Physical ability to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
